Noah Dubin, also called by his birth name Alberto Sanchez Juarez is a first-generation Mexican-American immigrant. He was born in Matamoros, Mexico, and at 11 months old crossed the US/Mexico border to be then adopted by two American civil rights lawyers. Noah was raised in midtown New York, where he was exposed to many art forms such as music, photography, painting, and fashion. His interest in art began with taking portraits and unsuspecting subjects, this allowed Noah to step outside of his comfort zone by speaking with strangers, finding his eye for color and interesting characters. His interest in fashion grew because the skateboarding scene was heavily tied to New York street fashion. Skateboarding at the time drew styles of baggy loose fitting clothing and skinny-fitted clothing, like the City of New York it was a melting pot of styles and personalities. Noah documented these characters and later developed a taste for seeing and recognizing styles and colors together. Later in Noah’s life, he gave an interest in textiles from his country as well as men’s tailoring. These interests gave birth to pursuing ethical practices within his art practice, during Noah’s college career he further dove into sourcing textiles and men’s/women’s wear.

Noah’s design philosophy is a driving force from his proud Latino heritage mixed with his Americano upbringing. Noah loves the smooth textures and lines of fine men’s tailoring, his obsession with men's rough street wear, and his strong Latino roots. They all come together as a political and flavorful design language of freedom and power with textiles and inclusiveness with his no-gender designs.
